On this call, we will talk about the most stressful parts of your home or business and if/how I can help. We'll also get to know one another to get a feel about how we would work together. If you want to proceed, we can schedule an in-person visit.
On-site consultation (approximately 60 minutes): FREE
*some locations may require a travel fee and/or a deposit on services
This is where we get started. You'll show me your problem area(s) and we'll discuss some solutions. But first, I'll get to know your lifestyle, preferences and habits. A lot of people are scared to reveal their mess. But within minutes, you'll see that I'm not judging you. In fact, your might feel a huge release of the shame you've been carrying, and you may even become hopeful!
This onsite consultation is free, with no obligation to hire me.
The Custom DIY Guide, with coaching: $150+
If after our consultation, you decide not to hire me as an organizer, I can create a DIY step-by-step guide for completing your project, customized EXACTLY for your space and YOUR specific goals, temperament, etc. This provides you with valuable expert solutions, resources and encouragement and allows for follow-up text messaging. The fee for this is based on how many problem areas you are facing, how complex the circumstances are, and the level of phone/video coaching you want.
In-home sessions: The amount of time varies based on project as well as the pace you prefer. I can offer you an estimate based on your project and desired results.
8 hours: $525
12 hours: $765
20 hours: $1,185
Packages are paid up front
Virtual sessions: We can do a onetime session or weekly ongoing sessions for as long as you need.
One hour session: $50
Half hour session: $30
How many hours will it take for my organizing project?
As I have limited psychic abilities, I cannot predict exactly how many hours your project will take. There are so many factors, such as:
Are we working together or are you letting me have at it solo?
If we are working together, how quick are you at making decisions? How emotional are you feeling about letting items go? I'm happy to go at any pace that works for you. I love hearing my clients stories about their items. But all of this makes things take a little longer.
If I'm working solo, how much freedom are you giving me to make decisions for you? Do you want to review each thing, even trash? I never throw out or donate anything unless YOU approve it. But things go faster if you can give me broad categories. For example, "I don't knit anymore, so any yarn, tools or half-done projects can go" or "Any receipts older than one year can go."
How complex the clutter is. Sometimes on the surface something looks simple, but under the top layer, it gets a whole lot more complicated. Conversely, though not often, sometimes rooms are much less cluttered than they seem and the job is done quicker than expected.
Some projects, though rare, need little to no decluttering and we are just working on setting up systems that are functional. These projects usually go faster, unless it is a uniquely complicated scenario.
With all that in mind, I can give you my best estimate based on my experience and based on your honest answers about how you'll interact with this process. Once we are nearing the estimate of hours, I will let you know if we can expect to need more time, and alternative ways to resolve the organizing if you do not wish to pay more. I won't leave you hanging. We will at the very least find a way to wrap up something before we close out.
Locations served for in-person organizing: Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Sun Valley, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Van Nuys, Valley Village, Noho, Atwater, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Toluca Lake, Hollywood, Downtown LA, Beverly Hills. I'm happy to drive anywhere but locations that require more than 15 miles outside of Burbank require a travel fee.
